The LaBruzzi family has a rich history deeply intertwined with the traditions of boat building and fishing, a legacy has been passed down through generations. Ken LaBruzzi, owner of Harbor Boat Repair, traces his roots back to the shores of Sicily.

Ken's grandfather, Dominic LaBruzzi, was a master boat builder. Dominic came to the United States from Sicily to establish the family business in the San Francisco Bay Area where each fishing vessel was meticulously crafted with unwavering attention to detail. The LaBruzzi name soon became synonymous with quality and reliability in the maritime community, earning them a reputation that spanned far beyond their local shores.

Eventually the family business moved across the bridge to San Rafael, CA and became Harbor Boat Repair, owned and operated by Ken and his father, Lawrence LaBruzzi.

After 45 years working on everything from small Monterey fishing vessels to impressively massive battleships, Ken moved to Colorado Springs and revived Harbor Boat Repair as a mobile business. Today, he takes pride in blending age-old traditions with modern innovations.
